FLEAS

If you KNOW that your pet has fleas, please don’t bring them to the Fuzzy House. Treat your pet for fleas BEFORE the grooming session. We are happy to discuss with you the best options for flea treatment. Here is the simple 4 step process we recommend :

  • Treat ALL mammalian PETS in your home.

  • Treat pets with a VETERINARIAN APPROVED product.

  • Treat your WHOLE HOUSE - bomb, spray, vacuum, wash.

  • REPEAT at the recommended intervals as stated by your veterinarian and the product labeling

  • IT DOES NOT MATTER IF YOUR PET(S) STAY INDOORS

    Fleas will occupy and take over your house. Fleas will remain alive and well in your house all winter long. All it takes is one flea. Anyone can bring in one flea, even you.

  • A $25 CHARGE WILL BE APPLIED FOR ANY PET FOUND WITH FLEAS

    This helps cover the cost of product and labor - flea shampoo, extra time to let the shampoo kill the fleas, time consuming isolation grooming techniques used to prevent fleas from spreading, area flea spray, and fumigating every inch of the shop after all pets have left for the day.

  • Ticks will be removed and you will be alerted

  • Excessive ticks will incur an additonal charge, based on time
